After attending an EQ (emotional intelligence quotient) retreat, Sara knew she had to share it with her family business community.

Learning very real and easy-to-apply skills for clearing any negative emotion or victimization like an athlete means that you become immediately more efficient in where and how you spend your vital time and energy. This means trading duality for neutrality/unconditionality; trading co-dependency and parent-child dynamics for adulting and leadership, and trading boredom or depression for meaning and a true “gnosis” for your zone of genius. The most foundational freedom comes from resolving all mirroring and shadow dynamics with great efficiency, including autonomic nervous system extremes of flight/fight/freeze/appease responses that only seem to mimic our history or echo our family-of-origin dynamics. If we leave our system on autopilot, then all of this old programming will trickle into investment planning, goals, our sense of purpose or our quality of peace—not to mention our parenting, romantic, and work-related relationships, causing repetitive conflict, fatigue, illness, habit, addiction, boredom, exhaustion, or lack of chosen outcome.

This style of work not only clears baggage and blind spots emotionally and mentally, but it also “powers up” the mitochondria and cell wall (boundaries) within glands and body—as well as resetting the electrical system to create higher immunity and resiliency, creating an inner esteem so rock solid that no one has say nor sway over your joy, mission, or identity.

This is true emotional intelligence,  e m b o d i e d .

A family, a business, a project, or a mission is only as great as the intentional frequency and functionality of its parts. It all shakes out as a measurable average, for each human on the team is one cell in a wider, unified organism (just like the health of each branch or organ system impacts the life of a whole body or tree). And the impact of a product can only be as coherent as the inception.point.coherence of a team and its leadership. A shared mission requires collaborative and compatible coherence at every choicepoint. And that tends to involve the very “real” competency of learning some solid forms of “adulting”.
